Research advances knowledge to create innovations that improves lives. The WKU Office of Research encourages research and fosters interdisciplinary cooperation among faculty and students to enhance and improve the research infrastructure.

Research encompasses a broad array of disciplines to include arts and humanities as well as the sciences – all disciplines contribute to the quality of life in our community.

The Vice President of Research is responsible for providing the resources and infrastructure to advance research at WKU.
